GERONIMO CREEK (EDWARDS COUNTY)
GERONIMO CREEK (Edwards County). Geronimo Creek rises sixteen miles west of Rocksprings in west central Edwards County (at 30°02' N, 100°28' W) and runs southeast for ten miles to its mouth on the West Nueces River, six miles south of the Justice triangulation station (at 29°56' N, 100°25' W). The creek traverses flat terrain with local deep and dense dissection, surfaced by shallow, stony soils that support oak, juniper, and mesquite.
