GOBBLER CREEK

GOBBLER CREEK. Gobbler (Gobler) Creek rises six miles northeast of Justiceburg in southeastern Garza County (at 33°06' N, 101°07' W) and runs southeast for five miles to its mouth on the Double Mountain Fork of the Brazos River (at 33°02' N, 101°06' W). It traverses an area of moderately steep slopes with high local relief, surfaced by shallow to moderately deep silt loams that support mesquite and grasses.
