GRAPE CREEK (Coke County). Grape Creek rises in southwestern Coke County (at 31°39' N, 100°35' W) and runs southeast for fourteen miles to its mouth on the North Concho River, southeast of Carlsbad in northern Tom Green County (at 31°34' N, 100°35' W). The local terrain is flat with local shallow depressions and is surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses along the creek's banks.
