HENNING CREEK

HENNING CREEK. Henning Creek rises two miles south of Lingleville in western Erath County (at 32°13' N, 98°22' W) and runs southwest for six miles to its mouth on Hackberry Creek, fourteen miles west of Stephenville (at 32°11' N, 98°26' W). It traverses an area of steep slopes and benches, surfaced by shallow clay loams and sands that support juniper, scattered oak, mesquite, and grasses.
