HONEY CREEK (HAMILTON COUNTY)
HONEY CREEK (Hamilton County). Honey Creek rises in northwestern Hamilton County near the Erath county line (at 31°53' N, 98°09' W) and runs northeast for fifteen miles to its mouth on the North Bosque River, three miles southeast of Hico (at 31°57' N, 98°00' W). Local soils are shallow, stony clay loams, which support juniper, oak, grasses, chaparral, and cacti. The surrounding area is range and cropland.
