HORSE CREEK (SAN SABA COUNTY)
HORSE CREEK (San Saba County). Horse Creek rises 7½ miles north of San Saba in northeastern San Saba County (at 31°21' N, 98°44' W) and runs east for three miles to its mouth on the Colorado River (at 31°21' N, 98°42' W). It crosses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by clay and sandy loam that supports live oak, mesquite, Ashe juniper, and grasses.
