INDIAN CREEK (NACOGDOCHES COUNTY)
INDIAN CREEK (Nacogdoches County). Indian Creek rises just west of Cushing in northwestern Nacogdoches County (at 31°47' N, 94°50' W) and runs northwest for six miles to its mouth on the Angelina River one mile southwest of Sacul (at 31°49' N, 94°57' W). Flat terrain with local shallow depressions is surfaced by clay and sandy loams which support water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses along the creek banks.
