INDIAN CREEK (ERATH COUNTY)

INDIAN CREEK (Erath County). Indian Creek rises one mile south of Rocky Point Church and three miles east of Stephenville in central Erath County (at 32°12' N, 98°07' W) and runs southwest to its mouth on the North Bosque River, near Pleasant Hill Cemetery (at 32°08' N, 98°10' W). The surrounding variable terrain is surfaced by soils that vary from shallow, stony clay loams to deep, fine sandy loams. Juniper, oak, grasses, chaparral, hardwood trees, conifers, brush, and cacti predominate in the area.
