JARRELL CREEK

JARRELL CREEK. Jarrell Creek rises just west of Farm Road 840 in east central Rusk County (at 32°05' N, 94°41' W) and flows southwest for six miles to its mouth on Minden Creek, two miles northeast of Sweetgum Church (at 32°02' N, 94°45' W). It traverses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by sandy and clay loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
