LIVE OAK CREEK (CONCHO COUNTY)
LIVE OAK CREEK (Concho County). Live Oak Creek rises (at 31°05' N, 99°58' W) in extreme southwestern Concho County, twelve miles southwest of Eden, and runs 10½ miles northeast to its mouth (at 31°11' N, 99°53' W) on Brady Creek, three miles southwest of Eden. The creek is dammed in its upper reaches. It traverses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by clay loams that support grasses, oaks, junipers, and mesquite.
