LIVEOAK CREEK (MCCULLOCH COUNTY)
LIVEOAK CREEK (McCulloch County). Liveoak Creek rises in central McCulloch County (at 31°14' N, 99°18' W) nine miles north of Brady and runs south for 9½ miles to its mouth (at 31°08' N, 99°20' W) on Brady Creek. The rolling prairie along its upper reaches becomes generally flat with local shallow depressions near its mouth. The clay and sandy loam soils in the area support water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
