LIVEOAK CREEK (STEPHENS COUNTY)

LIVEOAK CREEK (Stephens County). Liveoak Creek rises just west of U.S. Highway 183 in southwestern Stephens County (at 32°31' N, 98°54' W) and runs northwest for six miles to its mouth on Big Sandy Creek, two miles southwest of Harpersville Community (at 32°34' N, 98°58' W). It traverses rolling hills, surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support scrub brush, mesquite, cacti, and grasses.
