LONG BRANCH (EASTLAND COUNTY)
LONG BRANCH (Eastland County). Long Branch rises (at 32°15' N, 98°59' W) a mile northwest of Romney in southern Eastland County and runs six miles southeast to its mouth (at 32°12' N, 98°53' W) on the Sabana River. It traverses flat to rolling terrain with local escarpments, surfaced by sandy clay loams that support a variety of long grasses and scrub.
