LONG DRAW (BREWSTER COUNTY)

LONG DRAW (Brewster County). The Long Draw rises eight miles northwest of Terlingua in southwestern Brewster County (at 29°23' N, 103°44' W) and runs southeast for sixteen miles to its mouth on Terlingua Creek, five miles southeast of Terlingua (at 29°15' N, 103°34' W). It traverses steep to gentle slopes surfaced by variable soils that support scrub brush and sparse grasses.
