LOBO CREEK

LOBO CREEK. Lobo Creek rises nine miles east of Laredo in southwestern Webb County (at 27°33' N, 99°18' W) and runs southeast for ten miles to its mouth on San Juanita Creek, eight miles west of Aguilares (at 27°26' N, 99°14' W). The surrounding low rolling and flat terrain with locally shallow depressions is surfaced by clay and sandy loam that supports grass, mesquite, chaparral, and water-tolerant hardwoods.
