LITTLE RUSH CREEK

LITTLE RUSH CREEK. Little Rush Creek rises just west of Roane in east central Navarro County (at 32°11' N, 96°23' W) and runs southeast for nine miles to its mouth on Rush Creek, two miles east of Kerens (at 32°07' N, 96°16' W). It traverses flat to rolling terrain, surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods and grasses.
