LITTLE SALINE CREEK (MENARD COUNTY)
LITTLE SALINE CREEK (Menard County). Little Saline Creek rises six miles northeast of Saline in southeastern Menard County (at 30°48' N, 99°35' W) and runs southeast for seventeen miles to its mouth on the Llano River, six miles southeast of London near the Kimble-Mason county line (at 30°39' N, 99°29' W). It traverses flat to rolling prairie with local escarpments, surfaced by fine, sandy loams that support hardwood forests.
