MARTIN'S CREEK (COMANCHE COUNTY)
MARTIN'S CREEK (Comanche County). Martin's Creek rises in the Bibb oilfield in west central Comanche County (at 32°00' N, 98°44' W) and runs east for four miles to its mouth on Copperas Creek, one mile east of the Crossroads Community (at 32°01' N, 98°38' W). The stream begins in rolling prairie with some steep slopes, surfaced by shallow sandy soil. The lower stream runs through clay loam that supports mesquite and grasses.
