MILL CREEK (CASS COUNTY)

MILL CREEK (Cass County). Mill Creek rises near Springdale Cemetery in northeastern Cass County (at 33°13' N, 94°11' W) and runs four miles northwest to its mouth on Wright Patman Lake (at 33°14' N, 94°13' W). Before the mid-1950s when the lake was formed the creek ran to the Sulphur River (at 33°15' N, 94°14' W). Flat to gently rolling terrain in the area is surfaced by clay and sandy loam that supports grasses and mixed hardwoods and pines.
