MILL CREEK (GRAYSON COUNTY)

MILL CREEK (Grayson County). Mill Creek rises two miles northeast of Tom Bean in southeastern Grayson County (at 33°47' N, 96°43' W) and runs north and turns northwest for a total distance of fifteen miles to its mouth on Choctaw Creek, four miles west of Ambrose (at 33°49' N, 96°46' W). Rolling prairie in the area is surfaced by deep to shallow expansive clays and clay loams that support oak, juniper, and various grasses. The area has served as crop and range land.
