MILLERS CREEK (GOLIAD COUNTY)
MILLERS CREEK (Goliad County). Millers Creek rises just west of Goliad Naval Auxiliary Landing Field in western Goliad County (at 28°37' N, 97°39' W) and runs southeast for eight miles to its mouth on the Blanco River, two miles east of Berclair (at 28°31' N, 97°34' W). The creek traverses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods and grasses. The stream was named for W. P. Miller, who owned a league and a labor of land in the area; the creek passes through part of it.
