MUDDY CREEK (YOUNG COUNTY)

MUDDY CREEK (Young County). Muddy Creek, also known as Mud Creek, rises in the northern part of Young County (at 33°22' N, 98°50' W) and flows to the east four miles to its mouth on Salt Creek, four miles southeast of Olney (at 33°22' N, 98°45' W). The terrain consists of rolling hills surfaced with clay and sandy loams that support scrub brush, mesquite, cacti, and grasses.
