MINDEN CREEK
MINDEN CREEK. Minden Creek rises just south of Minden in east central Rusk County (at 32°00' N, 94°42' W) and flows northwest for five miles to its mouth on Barnhart Creek, two miles north of Sweetgum Church (at 32°02' N, 94°46' W). The creek traverses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by sandy and clay loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
