OTTER CREEK. Otter Creek rises (at 31°59' N, 95°46' W) in northwestern Anderson County 1½ miles northeast of Bois D'Arc and runs southwest for five miles to its mouth (at 31°55' N, 95°47' W) on Beaver Creek, 4½ miles northwest of Montalba. The stream is intermittent in its upper reaches. Its banks are heavily wooded in places with post oak trees, and the nearly level to moderately steep terrain is surfaced by sand and clay. The land is used predominantly for agriculture.
