POSTOAK CREEK (KENDALL COUNTY)
POSTOAK CREEK (Kendall County). Postoak Creek rises four miles northeast of Boerne in southern Kendall County (at 29°49' N, 98°40' W) and runs southeast for seven miles to its mouth on Cibolo Creek, ten miles west of Bulverde in Comal County (at 29°45' N, 98°38' W). It traverses flat terrain with local deep dissections, surfaced by shallow stony soils that support oak, juniper, mesquite, and grasses.
