RED FORK OF RUSH CREEK
RED FORK OF RUSH CREEK. The Red Fork of Rush Creek rises just north of Howard in eastern Eastland County (at 32°20' N, 98°30' W) and runs eight miles northeast to its mouth on Rush Creek, in northwestern Erath County (at 32°25' N, 98°28' W). Rolling prairie in the area is surfaced by moderately deep clay loam that supports some tall grasses and vine mesquite.
