RED OAK CREEK (ROBERTSON COUNTY)
RED OAK CREEK (Robertson County). Red Oak Creek rises 2½ miles northwest of Ridge in east central Robertson County near the Leon county boundary (at 31°10' N, 96°21' W) and runs four miles to its mouth on Red Oak Lake, east of the Navasota River and two miles northeast of Ridge (at 31°10' N, 96°18' W). Steep inclines in the area are surfaced by loam that supports post oak. The terrain changes to nearly level near the Navasota floodplain.
