ROCKY CREEK (UPSHUR COUNTY)

ROCKY CREEK (Upshur County). Rocky Creek rises one mile northeast of Center Point in southwestern Upshur County (at 32°37' N, 95°01' W) and runs south for six miles to its mouth on the Sabine River, two miles west of Gladewater (at 32°33' N, 95°01' W). The surrounding flat to low rolling terrain is surfaced by clay and sandy loam that supports water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
