SALT CREEK (REFUGIO COUNTY)
SALT CREEK (Refugio County). Salt Creek rises four miles southeast of Vidaurri in eastern Refugio County (at 28°25' N, 97°05' W) and runs southeast five miles across Aransas County to its mouth (at 28°15' N, 96°57' W) on St. Charles Bay. The flat to rolling prairie is surfaced by sandy clay which supports hardwoods, pines, mesquite, and numerous prairie grasses.
