SALTY CREEK (MILAM COUNTY)
SALTY CREEK (Milam County). Salty Creek rises in southern Milam County (at 30°34' N, 97°08' W) four miles northwest of the Pleasant Hill community. It runs north for eight miles to its mouth (at 30°38' N, 97°10' W) on Brushy Creek two miles east of Thorndale. The rolling prairie is surfaced by clay loams which support mesquite and grasses.
