SAN ILDEFONSO CREEK
SAN ILDEFONSO CREEK. San Ildefonso Creek rises two miles south of Laredo in southwestern Webb County (at 27°28' N, 99°26' W) and runs southwest for four miles to its mouth on the Rio Grande, two miles south of Laredo (at 27°25' N, 99°29' W). The surrounding low rolling and flat terrain has locally shallow depressions and is surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support grasses, mesquite, chaparral, and water-tolerant hardwoods.
