SANDERS CREEK (SHELBY COUNTY)

SANDERS CREEK (Shelby County). Sanders Creek rises eighteen miles southeast of Center in southeastern Shelby County (at 31°40' N, 93°55' W) and runs east for four miles to its mouth on Toledo Bend Reservoir (at 31°39' N, 93°51' W). The soil is clayey and loamy, and the terrain is nearly level. The creek lies wholly within the boundaries of Sabine National Forest.
