SANDY CREEK (FISHER COUNTY)
SANDY CREEK (Fisher County). Sandy Creek rises in south central Fisher County six miles south of Roby (at 32°40' N, 100°23' W) and runs northeast for nine miles to its mouth (at 32°46' N, 100°19' W) on the Clear Fork of the Brazos River four miles east of Roby. Flat to rolling terrain, with locally active dune blowout areas, is surfaced by sand, which supports scattered oak mottes and bunch grasses.
