SIMS CREEK
SIMS CREEK. Sims Creek rises two miles north of Selden in southern Erath County (at 32°10' N, 98°06' W) and runs south for eight miles to its mouth on the North Fork of the Bosque River, seven miles north of Clairette (at 32°06' N, 98°09' W). Flat terrain and rolling hills in the area have occasional steep slopes and are surfaced by sandy and clay loams that support oaks, hardwoods, juniper, and grasses.
