TEXAS CREEK

TEXAS CREEK. Texas Creek rises just west of the Arkansas state line a half mile northeast of Bloomburg in northeastern Cass County (at 33°09' N, 94°03' W) and runs north for four miles to its mouth on Little Cypress Creek, 4½ miles north of Bloomburg (at 33°12' N, 94°03' W). The soils are loamy. The area is gently undulating to gently rolling, and, where not developed for uses, heavily wooded, with pines and various hardwoods predominating.
