VANHAM CREEK. Vanham Creek rises two miles southwest of Moulton on the border of Lavaca and Gonzales counties (at 29°33' N, 97°12' W) and runs west, and then southwest, for eight miles to its mouth on Peach Creek, a mile northwest of Dilworth (at 29°32' N, 97°18' W). The surrounding low to moderately rolling terrain is surfaced by sandy fine loam that supports hardwoods, pines, and grasses.
