WILSON BRANCH
WILSON BRANCH. Wilson Branch rises seven miles southwest of Bono in southwestern Johnson County (at 32°16' N, 97°36' W) and runs southeast for three miles to its mouth on Camp Creek, near Lafon Cemetery (at 32°13' N, 97°34' W). The surrounding variable terrain is surfaced by shallow, stony clay loams that support juniper, oak, cacti, and local grasses. The Wilson Branch area has been used as range and crop land.
