WASP CREEK (CORYELL COUNTY)

WASP CREEK (Coryell County). Wasp Creek rises a mile west of the McLennan county line in eastern Coryell County (at 31°27' N, 97°31' W) and runs northeast for nine miles to its mouth on Tonk Creek, a mile east of Crawford in McLennan County (at 31°32' N, 97°26' W). The surrounding flat to rolling terrain is surfaced by shallow clay loams that support oak, juniper, cacti, and grasses.
