BIG ISLAND SLOUGH
BIG ISLAND SLOUGH. Big Island Slough rises near the intersection of State Highway 225 and Miller Road in southeast Harris County (at 29°42' N, 95°05' W) and flows south seven miles to its mouth on Armand Bayou, three miles northwest of Clear Lake (at 29°36' N, 95°06' W). It traverses flat, flood-prone grasslands.
