HOUSEN BAYOU

HOUSEN BAYOU. Housen Bayou rises just west of Bronson in western Sabine County (at 31°21' N, 94°00' W) and runs southeast for twenty-five miles to its mouth on the Toledo Bend Reservoir, four miles southeast of Hemphill (at 31°18' N, 93°48' W). The bayou traverses nearly level to sloping terrain that is heavily wooded, with pine trees predominating.
