BALD MOUNTAIN (TRAVIS COUNTY)
BALD MOUNTAIN (Travis County). Bald Mountain is twenty-six miles northwest of Austin and two miles north of Farm Road 1431 in northwestern Travis County (at 30°33' N, 98°05' W). It rises 1,262 feet above sea level, more than 250 feet above the surrounding countryside.
