HEN EGG MOUNTAIN
HEN EGG MOUNTAIN. Hen Egg Mountain is ten miles north of Terlingua in southwestern Brewster County (at 29°28' N, 103°35' W). The mountain, at an elevation of 5,005 feet above sea level, rises 1,720 feet above State Highway 118, two miles east. Shallow, stony soils on the mountain support scrub brush and grasses.
