HUDSON MOUNTAIN

HUDSON MOUNTAIN. Hudson Mountain, also known as Mount Hudson, is four miles east of Willow City in northeastern Gillespie County (at 30°24' N, 98°38' W). The mountain has an elevation of 1,790 feet above sea level and rises in low-rolling to flat terrain with clay and sandy loam soils that support grasses and stands of post oak, blackjack oak, cedar elm, and mesquite.
