SLICK MOUNTAIN

SLICK MOUNTAIN. Slick Mountain stands three miles northeast of Esbon in northwestern Llano County (at 30°49' N, 98°54' W). At an elevation of 1,551 feet, the summit rises 200 feet above nearby San Fernando Creek. Local topography is characterized by flat to rolling terrain, locally dissected and covered with sandy and clay loams. Vegetation consists primarily of open stands of live oak and mesquite.
