COW GAP. Cow Gap, a pass in the Brady Mountains, is about eight miles north of Brady in north central McCulloch County (at 31°15' N, 99°23' W). The elevation of the pass is 1,770 feet above mean sea level. Several early cattle trails used this pass through the mountains. The West Fork of Cow Creek runs through Cow Gap.
