BALLENGER BEND
BALLENGER BEND. Ballenger Bend is on the Brazos River five miles west of Mineral Wells in east central Palo Pinto County (at 32°49' N, 98°12' W). The surrounding flat to rolling terrain is surfaced by moderately deep to deep sandy and clay loam that supports hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
