SPRING LAKE

SPRING LAKE. Spring Lake, a small natural lake, drains into Blackwater Draw south of U.S. Highway 70 four miles west of Earth in northwestern Lamb County (at 34°14' N, 102°30' W). The surrounding rolling terrain with moderate relief is surfaced by sand and is commonly barren with the exception of grasses and nongrassy herbs.
