ALLENTOWN, TEXAS. Allentown is on Farm Road 843 eight miles north of Lufkin in northwestern Angelina County. In the 1930s the settlement had a store, a church, and a number of houses. After World War IIqv many residents left the area, but in the early 1990s the church and a store still remained.
