KERTMAN, TEXAS. Kertman was a flag stop and lumber shipping point on the Texas and New Orleans Railroad near Huntington in eastern Angelina County. Around 1900 several sawmills operated in the area. With the decline of local lumbering after 1920, the site was abandoned, and by the 1930s Kertman was no longer shown on maps.
