MOUNT PLEASANT, TEXAS (Comanche County). Mount Pleasant is on Farm Road 2247 three miles north of Comanche in central Comanche County. In 1902 it had a school, which in 1937 had seven pupils and one teacher. Mount Pleasant had the school and scattered dwellings in 1940. The school was consolidated with those of Comanche in the 1940s. In 1969 Mount Pleasant had a church and scattered dwellings. The church was still standing in 1992.
